This site started as a mini shrine named "Brazilian Beauty" in late 2003. Jun Kazama and Ling Xiaoyu had always been my favorite Tekken female characters, but when Tekken 4 came out, I immediately adored Christie. I loved her fashion sense, her fighting style, her personality, her looks, everything about her. She was soo kickass!

I started and released a small shrine to her on my collective hosted on a freeserver. It remained there for a bout a year until I got my domain, then it moved to kairi.net under a new name: Calypso. It stayed up again for sometime, then I put it on hiatus for a LOOONG time in order to fully revamp it. And here it is today.

Why did I choose Christie? Simple, I love her. She's my favorite character, and I hate how she's labled as a "slut" or the "hot replacement for Eddy". There's more to her than just looks! Plus, I felt she deserved a heart-felt tribute.
